Labor Day

Labor Day is a holiday for workers to get a day off to spend time and relax with their families. Its also the day every pool closes down till Memorial weekend. For the first two years of being a holiday Labor Day was on the first Tuesday of September 5th till 1884, then it switched to the first Monday of September. There is a street parade on Labor Day to give to the public for working hard. Its all thanks to Peter J. McGuire and also Matthew Maguire
