I think the only people that should be able to use or own guns are hunters, police men, soliders, to protect themselves. That might help some of the killings stop if people only use it for those purposes. There are way to many incidents with guns and not really a way to stop it. It would be a terrible idea to get rid of guns forever. Most people would not cooperate with this law at all. There could be riots or other very bad things happen in the US without guns.
